Not much action!

No, I'm not talking about my love life... but that could be true as well.

There has not been much action on the Faceboook page since the middle of the week. I will be a bit more pro-active next week...

Feel free to post items and such on the Facebook page.

See you soon!

Studio Space!

Debra Baxter $175 Small Studio Space/Office/ workshop in Ballard

I have a studio in Ballard that has smaller space that I need to rent it is a about 10x12 room with window and separate entrance. this space would work well for an office or a studio for someone who works smaller (works on paper, textiles, or jeweler)or needs an office

It is in a building of lovely artists that are very trustworthy and sometimes bring you pastries.
Several artist have been there over a decade.

it is on 45th st and 14th street across the street and west of fred meyer
ii can be cheaper if you let someone put a matte cutter on one wall

Wall space for sublet!

Mark Miller writes

Hi Everybody, I have a large wall in my studio for big projects or short sublet (4 months maybe longer). it is in the heart of Georgetown at 1226 S. Bailey St, #A. The wall is 44 ft long! It is lit evenly with a tons of halogens. Claire Cowie just used it to paint and opera backdrop that was 44' by 17'. The drywall goes to 12 ft. There is a about 8 feet in front of the wall that you could use to keep your things in and 30 or 40 feet of back up room. $500/mo includes bathroom, utility sinks, and triple net.

Go to our facebook page!

This is still all too new...

GO TO OUR FACEBOOK PAGE to post things you are looking for or wanting to give away...

It turns out that bartering is taxable.. so I say let's just post things that we have no need for...

That gallon can of gesso from the time when you thought you wanted to be a painting major but realized you were more suited to ceramics (or stalking celebrities and calling it art)...

That travel easel for painting plein air (can you tell that I never really took to painting here???)...

Let's see how it all works out. Maybe we'll gather our wares and have one big swap meet??

If anyone wants to help out please let me know and I'll make you an administrator on the Facebook page.

there's an opening tonight at TARL if you're interested! BRING BURNABLES! It's a fireside chat!

Silica Packetts?

Check out our Facebook page... the link is up above

Someone has tincture bottles and there are also Silica packages.

Send me emails of things you need or want to get off your hands... or just post them on the FB page.

A place to swap goods and services...

Welcome to Seattle Art Barter.

I am an artist and I don't have a lot of money... I'm thinking it would be a good idea to post things and services here which we don't need... or a skill we have which we can share with others...

I'll have to figure out how to do this - but it's got to work... right?
